Come Along & Discover More
There’s always something happening at the Trust. From fascinating talks and lively fundraisers to quizzes, historic walks and special events, our Tintern Talks programme brings together great speakers, curious minds and people who love the Wye Valley.
We’ve welcomed an impressive line-up of speakers, including Keggie Carew, Pele Cox, Kate Humble, David Hurn, Professor Ronald Hutton, Mark McCrum, Simon Maddison, Candida Meyrick and Rowan Williams, among many others.
Coming Up
Our upcoming programme features Nick Crane, Professor Miranda Aldhouse-Green, Professor Ronald Hutton, Robin Smith, Anne Wareham and Professor Belinda Wilkes, with more speakers and events to be announced.
From archaeology and history to landscape, culture and the extraordinary stories of the Wye Valley, there’s something for everyone — and our fundraising quizzes are always a popular excuse to pit your wits against your friends!

Explore Tintern
Fancy discovering Tintern on foot? Each September we take part in Cadw Open Doors, offering free historical walks around this remarkable village.
We also run ticketed Tintern Tours throughout the year, and can arrange bespoke walks and talks for groups who would like to explore Tintern's history in more depth.
